Any way to get notifications on mobile site when using basic html?

Per subject, I prefer the mobile view classic txt view and i dont like the app.

Is there anyway to get notifications working in that view?

By notifications I mean the bottom right little windows you get when someone replies and quotes you. They are called notifications on the website. Not android notifications, but slickdeals notifications.

Ah; no, those do not exist in the Basic HTML view.
