You'll want to manage your expectations, but these lights are most definitely brighter than what you'd find at a local store for a similar price.

this same dim "cree" flashlight is sold under a 100 different brands.
i have one, and am sorry to report it consumes aaa-battery quickly
(an hour or two) so plan on using it with your high quality 18650.
foolishly the chinese made this body too narrow so even without that
sleeve, you can not use a more appropriate 26650 battery either.
gaskets are very thin and loose, so take great care when opening this.

This is probably just the same junk you can find on ebay for like 3 or 4 bucks.

I bought a couple of these last time on sale. They are brighter than something using AA batteries, but definitely not 500-800 Lumens.

If you want something nice pay a little more for Convoy S2+, true 900+ lumens so much brighter. Buy it from a reputable seller or direct, there are fake sellers out there.

Does this flash light have memory so you don't have to click through all the settings all the time?

No. That's why I don't use mine.

Frankly, I never know what mode I am going to get. I am not sure if it is due to lack of memory, or just sensitive switch.
