I bought one yesterday for $857.49 before tax, free shipping. Tax was $77.18 (California), then some bs $6 eco fee. Free expedited shipping.

Jon-boy, care to share HOW you got it at that price?

Will the Amex $100 off $599+ offer work on this?

No link. Just create a dell account, go to the product and then hit up the live chat. Tell them you want a cheaper price and free shipping.

Actually that happens frequently. If you can show them that you are really interested to get this but need a bit more discount, they sometime do provide some discount. Happened to me, but with a XPS 2-in-1.

This is a good laptop for gaming, pretty decently future proof. I always miss g-sync on machines not equipped with it, but for on the road and affordable, this is suitable. Good buy. The recent Costco deal for $649 on the Acer Nitro is kind of a waste due to sooner obsolescence.

I got in my cart an Inspiron 7000 with 16GB, i7, and 16GB RAM, but less SSD HD size is the difference I see. For that extra 158.00$ is it worth it for i7? Looking for a main rig.

Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Series

In my opinion, that is a good deal. Core i7-7700HQ will be a bit more future proof and well suited for CPU intensive tasks. Also double the Ram. Currently a DDR4L 2400 MHz 8GB model will cost over $80 alone.
Can you pont me to the deal you are talking about before you make ur purchase?

I probably should have mentioned I used a 10% off code for military discount, but I'm pretty sure the student discount code will work too. I had to google to find where on their site to request the unique code which gets emailed to your account.

Haven't pulled a trigger yet. $962.99 vs $1,132.48 (after Taxes) .... tough decision.

How often are 1060s going under the 1k lately?
