Just picked up one of these and seems like a nice USA made hammer.
Did a search and have not seen this one posted before.

There are many ways to make this really slick using coupons, freecash and of course saving up points from other purchases.

This 16 oz. rip claw hammer has a special deep throat design. The head has a striking end and a claw end designed for ripping up nails. It has a headliner steel shield that helps ensure that the handle is not damaged quickly from regular use. The head is designed and ideal for framing jobs, but you can find a multitude of uses for this durable hammer.
The handle of the Craftsman 16 oz. rip claw hammer is made with solid hickory of the best grade. Etched into it is a chevron design that helps you get a comfortable grip on your tool. At the end of the handle is a soft non-marring cap. This allows you to execute light tapping without damaging your handle or your materials. The overall design lets you take care of anything from a tough nail to delicate pin.

Been waiting patiently to see what she said.
Of course the 20 oz hammers are not half price so she will have to swing a bit harder.

Harbor Freight doesn't sell Craftsman hammers. They don't sell hammers made in the USA. They don't even sell any hammers with real hickory handles. And their cheapest 16 oz option is $3.99

Wake up! Nothing about Craftsman is USA no moor.
There are several Craftsman products that are still made here, including this hammer. "Made in USA"

Hate it when they say store pickup unavailable when they have a whole rack of them in store.

Just be glad they did not accept your order, then cancel it since the store was out of stock ... and then you went in and saw them on the shelves. They've done that to me. That happens when the person sent to get the item off the shelf can't find it (does not try very hard) and finds it convenient to press the out of stock button.
