I have one of these. Even though the fan itself runs great, the light output is horrific. I would not recommend this

Great for a den or space with alternate lighting.

How difficult is it to swap out the lighting units attached to such fans. I've got way too much (4 bulbs capacity) in my bedroom fan versus my living room fan (2).

Any insights on the light bulb lumens and type? Can I put led in this? Is this regular E26 style bulbs or what?

Perhaps candelabra bulbs. I can find no information except one review speaking of the bulbs being special purpose. Regular bulbs like three night light bulbs or something.

For me it would not be a problem I would just rewire it to use standard e26 bulbs. But I know how to do that. I just did it with another Slick Deal lamb from Home Depot. It had only one bulb with a special base. Now it fits three e26 bulbs.

I think it all consists of a black, white, and green cable that you hook up with those coney things that twist. I saw some videos, and finally got a diagram going on paper, and gave it a try after shutting the brakers off. Got the same unit from Staples, and it works fine.

Cool. I'll be on to it in the next few days. It's just uncomfortable working at the height on a ladder. Lol.
