Sale ends in 13 hours. I bought 5. Not super smoking deal but for 8 GB is almost as cheap as 4 gb the other day for $230 AR.

I now have 5 copies of Quake Champion? Any good? Can I play them all at once? Wink

The specs from their site show:

Graphics Engine AXRX 580 8GBD5-3DHD/OC
Video Memory 8GB GDDR5
Engine Clock up to 1350MHz with boost

Best Buy has the XFX RX-580P8DFWR for $289. Granted, $30 more, but it has 1366 clock and 1386 with boost. It also uses some water cooling in the heat pipes. It has a 3 year warranty vs a 2 year on the PowerColor. Both sites have tax. For $30, it's not worth the hassle of returning to Best Buy for what seems to be at least a slightly superior card.

I've been hunting for a cheap 1070 to replace my 770. Doesn't seem like it's going to happen any time soon. You think a 970 off eBay would be a nice upgrade? I'm seeing a bunch for around $100.

edit: nevermind, misread ebay listings. They are around $180+

You can get one for $150. I see an open box zotac. I had the 970 before getting 1080. If you only do 1080p gaming, it's good enough.

My mining addiction continues! I bought an Asus 1060 6 gb for $250 off ebay was new unboxed.

1060s seems to do pretty nice. I'm up to 2 1070s 3 1050 tis 3 R9 380s.

Got worn out. It's a challenge even using nicehash having 4 different kinds of cards running. Figured I'd pull the trigger & have 5 the same make tuning much easier. But, might lose some money. $1,300 in cards is quite a bit of dough. Hopefully Mining hasn't jumped the shark.

Newegg doesn't charge me tax. So it's probably closer to $60 difference.

same here Big Grin
i currently have 4 x rx 480 and 3 1060s 3GB Smilie
i just bought 4 more 1060s, though one from amazon third party and it appears dead or damaged Frown
I would buy more cards, but its' indeed already a very significant investment, if prices for the coins don't keep increasing it's hard to justify it...but as long as you hold and wait for hte prices to go up, you'll be fine
winter is coming and the extra heat helps instead of affecting Big Grin Stick Out Tongue

I wonder how returns work. My Asus 6 gb I thought was bad but ended up being my pcie slot. Ebay seller was willing to take it back. Tried to get set up for 8 gpus on 1 mobo using two m.2 slots. M.2 to pcie didn't work.

Already enjoying some toasty mining temperatures although think my canary is barely alive.

How much are you getting off your 1060? Right now Mine is $1.25 doing equihash on nicehash 310 sol/sec.

Can I hijack this thread for a second. What kind of returns do you get mining per card? Anyone have a good insightful current link

You're gonna get burned when crypto currencies crash for real.
