Looks like there are a ton of questionable 5 star reviews on this. Looking at the 3 star and down reviews it seems that the handle comes loose commonly on this knife.

Still for the price I may buy this because I have never had a ceramic before.

Fakespot given it an A so the reviews should be legit.

Ceramic is amazing. Just don't try to cut really hard things with it, since the blade may chip.

I bought a set of the KitchenAid ones at Sam's club last year for $10 on clearance and am kicking myself because I didn't buy more at such a low price. Now you can't find them and if you do (like on Ebay) people want a huge premium for them. They are the best knives I've ever owned. Ceramic knives are awesome and after using them, I don't even bother with my old regular sets anymore.

The only problem is that the bigger knives (like the large chef's knives) can have a tendency to chip if put in the dishwasher. A small piece broke out the middle of my chef knife and now it's less usable than before. I've seen this comment also posted on a lot of reviews. But the smaller knives are wonderful and seem much more durable.

Bought this at the end of August on sale for 5.93. The knife is pretty sharp and works great for vegetables and salad items. We haven't had any problems with it and its still pretty sharp. For the price you can't go wrong. I'm tempted to buy another!

Seems overpriced for what it is. You can get a cheap multi-colored ceramic knife set for similar prices at most places.

what is the difference between ceramic knife and regular knife? Are you referring to blade material?

I believe OP is referring to blade material. It stays sharp but is very brittle. So best to stay away from bones and the like. Another example is using a ceramic knife to yank an avacado pit out. Otherwise cutting everything else like onions, meats, etc it'll perform.

Please send couple of links for other knifes which are close to the OP's price point.

With ceramic, even the expensive ones chip. I found the cheap ones are just as good.
