Hey everyone!

If anyone is interested in getting SquareTrade warranty for their TV, laptop... (Excludes cell phones), I just got a promo code today for 25% off (Max $25 discount).

Code is OFF25.

It isn't account specific so anyone can use it.

Anyone know if ST works with items bought from ebay as new?

Do you need a major retailer slip to prove that the item is new or is it just a matter of sending proof and maybe photo/movies of the working device?

Thanks.

I believe you can as long as you submit your invoice or item description showing it's new

Good luck with them. Bought one of their warranties and they are dragging their feet in actually reimbursing me when the covered item failed. They asked for the receipt and then every time I enter it on their website, the receipt magically disappears from their system. I'm sure that someone is deleting it on purpose.

What a ripoff.

I've had the opposite experience with square trade. I had no problem getting a tablet fixed twice and several cellphones. I always buy the square trade warranty at costco for new cell phones.

Had the opposite experience. My Bose sport headphones stopped working. Once I submitted the claim, they had me ship them back. Since they were old, they didn't even bother fixing them and gave me my money back, which I used to buy Bluetooth Bose sport headphones.

I've worked with them for years. Two things:
1)Calling is better than chat. They usually resolve our customers' issues on first call. Online had issues but one call clears it.
2) If they're not helping, contact the store you bought it from (if applicable). They have a little more pull for difficult cases

Exact same garbage here... got a Samsung Tab 4 10" and they tried to replace it with a $25 7" iview... I sent it back, no thanks... was able to do my first repair and fixed it cost me about $15 for the ribbons replaced but I figured if I messed up I could still scrap it for pieces on Ebay... never again with ST!

Does SquareTrade cover the pre-coupon price or post-coupon?

I just bought a printer for $80 - $25 off $75 coupon = $55.
Their printer warranties are $4.50 for up to $60 and $8 for $60-100.

The Staples receipt shows a $219.99 price and then a bunch of discounts & coupons bringing it to $54.99.

Any updated coupon codes? Do they usually run Black Friday sales?

They just reimbursed me the pre-coupon for my Staples printer. It was $89.99 and I paid something like $30 after Staples rewards.

I always get the plan for items like printers and chairs. They don't want them back and my item always fails in the second year.
