Car is the worst thing you can do on your street. Street is the worst thing you can see on your maps. Maps are the worst thing you can do with your paper. Paper is the worst thing you can do with your trees. Trees are the worst thing you can do with your front yard.

The same question gets asked on every thread, and someone always complains it gets asked. Since it gets asked every thread - its obviously a good question...

Although it is listed on newegg and newegg isn't an authorized reseller - it isn't actually sold by newegg. In the fineprint it says "Sold and Shipped by Drive In Autosound" - and drive in autosound IS an authorized seller for the rebate. Many previous threads have people who bought from them and successfully received their rebate.

Man I remember when you had to spend 1200-1500 to get a descent deal on a terrible looking nav screen from Pioneer. Great deal for anyone that can get a car with a din sized stereo now a days.

I got the 8200 a few months ago for 515AR. Overall pretty happy with it. Navigation is great for when you don't want to use your phone.disapointed with Android auto. Screen is grainy and the supported apps. Spotify. Amazon music and Pandora have a shitty interface. Amazon music won't load playlists. I wouldn't get this just to use with Android auto

I'd lean towards the Kenwood. The new model kenwood double Dins have a lot of additional feature possibilities and customization. The idatalink Maestro interface is really cool for those that still want to monitor gauges and not just a light on the dash. And the "dash cam" style front facing cam kenwood offers seems to do really well.

The 8200Nex supports all of these features including iDatalink Maestro integration. Check AVIC411 forum on how to get additional maps and custom ROMS on the NEX
