Reviews on this item looks good (4 solid stars, 36 reviews on Walmart and 4 solid star reviews on Amazon with 500+ reviews)

Noticed a refurbished one on Amazon for $95...I would rather pay $20 more for a brand new one though...I've been debating a fitbit or a garmin tracker. Anyone have any feedback?

It is a bit bulky and was why I was leaning towards the Fitbit Charge 2 Activity Tracker but it's still up there in price...for me.

No android wear, which is weak for a smartwatch, but decent fitness tracker. It's got GPS, but I'd want a built-in HR monitor. No reason to consider Fitbit, unless you like their app.

One. this is one of the least bulky gps watch there is. It easily fits under dress shirt cuffs. It also looks like a normal-ish watch and not a bracelet.

Two. This is the first gen Vivoactive. No HR. I've posted deals for refurbs at under $80. This is not a good price.

Three. If you're using it as a gps watch for running, biking and such, the screen is much nicer to see multiple metrics at once as opposed to having to scroll through metrics on the Charge 2. If you want an all around activity tracker with HR and occasional runs, biking and such, then the Charge 2 is the way to go. If you want HR and want to use it predominantly for running, biking, swimming and such, I would go with the Vivoactive HR for the ability to see multiple metrics on one screen without scrolling.

No android wear is a positive. Many people don't want to have to charge their watch every day and just want some basic notifications. I don't even wear my android watch. It sits charged until I'm ready to use it for a workout, run and such. But I'd rather have the Suunto and use my Shanling M1 for music via BT headphones.

Thanks for the detailed response. I think I may wait for the Charge 2 to drop in price...worship
