This deal is live again. Should come with digital HD redeemable on VUDU, iTunes, etc. in addition to the blu rays. Says 75% off retail price.

Why the HELL is this TWENTY EIGHT DISKS?!?!?!?!?!??!

Every single episode could probably fit on one or two disks. At the most it should be one disk per season.
So it doesn't look like I'm watching it on Youtube

nope......Each episode is about 15GB and a dual layer bluray disc max is 50GB....So just 3 episode should fit on one disc...This is bluray not dvd...

Oh whoops, forgot it is uncompressed. Man it's been a while since I've even thought about Blu-ray. Uncompressed PCM audio + spanish audio adds up.

Thanks for reminding me why I download everything I watch for the last decade. 28 discs, omfg that seems so 1999. Crazy to think that it only took 10 years for Blu-ray to become obsolete.https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima.../emot-LMAO.gif

If I bought this, I would rip & remux every episode to a HDD and throw away the boxset. Who the hell can be bothered by switching between 28 disks?!

So when they release this in 4K in a few years, you're going to re-buy another 50 discs?

I bought this on DVD way back when, so I own it. I can download this in any format including uncompressed at any point in the future. 1080p.LPCM.VC-1.Remux is good enough for me, for now...

Good for you but pirating downloads isn't exactly legal and for the most of us here we prefer the real thing. And if they do come out in 4k, not likely, but if they do with hdr, then yes if I really love this show I would.
