That just means it's working. If the glass doesn't shatter, it's just not worth buying.

We have had this microwave for almost 2 years now. Bought it through Amazon warehouse for $57. It has held up very well so far, we use it extensively with no issues. It is relatively large and powerful at 1.1cu ft and 1000W.

Good price, but look at the reviews. Apparently LOTS of issues with the glass suddenly shattering for no reason.

Pass on account of the issues.

Garbage unit. Takes too long to cook things, and cheaply made so prone to breakdown. Buy the warranty for a few bucks if you decide to buy this. Better yet, just spend another $15-20 and buy something better.

Where did you see that? I read all of its negative reviews on the Wal-Mart website but didn't see a single mention of any glass shattering.

I have a 700W microwave I got on sale for <$14. Before you make fun of a $31 microwave, you have to consider it is on clearance, and it probably sold for twice this before. You can make fun of it at $79, but silly to make fun at this price. Just don't buy if you don't want.

Yeah, I get that over time tech makes things cheaper but at some point you realize that they are skimping on quality control, materials and the like. I bought a cheap Hamilton Beach microwave from a Walmart endcap over 7 years ago and it's still running very well but even that feels more solid than some of the cheap ones out now.

I'd probably recommend a solid used one on CL before I'd get this.
