I have been comparing flight prices for an upcoming trip and came across Allegiant Air via Google Flights.
I was unfamiliar with this airline as they are not featured on the likes of Kayak.com.
As a result of checking out prices to my destination I was amazed at how much I saved compared to my usual 'go to' home page of Southwest.com.
My above titled post is purely an example as to how cheap their deals are so why not go ahead and check them out as you have nothing to lose except your time.
I'm truly glad I did!
The only caveats to this deal is if you don't have flexible dates and rely on the 2 bags fly free policy @ Southwest.com.
Happy hunting!

They can afford the low fares since they don't appear to spend much on maintenance

But SWA has ~ 7x the fleet size as compared to AAY. Don't get me wrong, Allegiant pilots are quite professional (same as SWA); it's their maintenance practices that aren't.

Time will tell. In the meantime, enjoy the cheap fares nod

OK, so I'm no aficionado when it comes to airline stats as all I know is a cheap deal, but I wouldn't have any reservations by flying with Allegiant Air.
