crazy deal. to bad they aren't 3k, I find 2.7k to be too yellow for my tastes.

FWIW Costco has been selling FEIT dimmable 60W bulbs at just under $9 per 6-pack, albeit in the standard, non-floodlight shape. Picked up a pack the other day and they work great, dimming up and down quite nicely w/o any noticeable buzz.

Yeah, if you really need some dimmable BR30's and can handle the yellow tone (I can't, but some of that is based on our interior colors) then this might not be a bad way to go.

The thing I wish they would fix is the strobing shadow caused by a dimmer chopped waveform pulsing the bulbs, and ceiling fans. Not generally a problem unless these mount in ceiling cans, or other mountings above a fan. Then it's pretty annoying.

in for 2 packs. most of my house uses floodlights although currently incandescent and they burn out pretty often. dreaming of the day when they all burn out and I can finally have100% of them replaced with these LED's
