Has anyone purchased from Liquidation.com?

I recently purchased an item from an EBay'er that came from this website. I guess you buy lots of returned items from Home Depot and other stores. I read some reviews that were good and lot more that were horrible. Maybe it is just the nature of the business to get junk?

Yes I have, when they had a warehouse near me, must inspect lots before picking up. I have purchased a number of items ,mostly shelf pulls or new some returns, but inspected all. Can get some really nice items if you do your homework and know what you're buying. Best deal was a copper bath tub, list price $5,999 Purchased for $450 sits in my master bath, also have picked up vanities, medicine cabinets, sinks, hardware, have remodeled 3 out of 4 baths with items from Liquidation.com. Once warehouse closed would no longer buy items without inspecting.

I didn't realize that was an option. Can you hire an inspector somehow? Might be worth $50-$100 in that case for sure? Where was the warehouse that closed? This one appears to be near Indianapolis, IN and they have others.

It was in Cranbury NJ. You also have right to reject lot on pickup if its not what you wanted or condition you expect it to be in, but once it leaves warehouse, not much recourse. I assume you could, I have used some shipping companies that do that, but it can get costly, whole point of buying items from liquidators is to get something at a reduce price.
