Global Version Specs:
http://www.ztedevice.com/product/...e/AXON-7##

US Version Specs:
https://www.zteusa.com/axon-7#sns_tab_additional

US Version has Band12, Global specs do not list it.Also Carrier Aggregation is not listed on the Global one.

Called ZTE and they confirmed there is no warranty on this model. They say you can call ZTE and they can help troubleshoot but that's about it.

If you buy the international version of the Axon 7, it's different. A lot.

I want to echo what @arewe82 said, it's a great phone but the camera is crap in anything less than bright light.
I've used this phone for work for around 12 months.
-The 3000mah battery is good and lasts until I get home from work. Quick charging is 30 minutes.
-ZTE manages the updates which is like playing whack a mole. previous major update fudged the finger print recognition. I think current update is draining battery faster.
-This phone can do hotspots without authorization or fees from you provider.
-switching providers and travelling overseas is awesome not having to deal with unlocking or jailbreaking
-2 year warranty from ZTE

For $230 (i paid $300 a year ago) your not going to do any better although gearbest is not the best. I've ordered from them before only to try to return the item later but I was unable to login or even locate my order on their website.

Bands 12 and/or 17 are pretty much required for ATT and TMO these days, and according to both frequencycheck and ZTE's own website, the A2017G has neither. Which is unfortunate, because $230 is ridiculously good for this phone - I got my A2017U a little over a month ago for $310 and even at that price it was a steal.

Both slots are full 4g LTE, and 2nd slot is SIM or microsd.
Price is slick for phone in general, but I would think the 2yr accidental damage warranty that comes with the US version is not included with International version. Spec-wise I'm not sure of all the differences between the versions.
As reference US version is model number ZTE A2017U while Intl version is model number ZTE A2017G.

Is this a slick price?

Can this phone do 3g on the second SIM, while 1st sim is on 4g/LTE?

Also. Can I assume the storage takes up the 2nd sim slot?

It it fully compatible with Cricket? including any future WiFi calling?

It's my best recollection that the radios are different on the two models, and I have heard of some people having issues using the global version on Verizon, and I have successfully used the American version on Verizon for the last year or so.

I understand that you can use it with T-Mobile / AT&T.
Can you use it with Verizon? (I know a few - like Moto G4 can do T-Mobile/AT&T and Verizon).

I've done a lot of research on this phone and I think this is a good deal on a good phone. But I really like the LG V20 with the removable battery. Just waiting for it to be $250.

If you want to use Verizon with another carrier (either CDMA or GSM ), get the ZTEA2017U version instead of this one. I've been using the 2017U since it came out. Excellent phone!

v20s display is the least accurate of the bunch. it was practically blue when I looked at it. I would much rather have the axon

Yes, you can do that. Both sims have option to enable or disable data. Source: I have the phone and seen the settings.
