Has anyone used the gaming projectors? I'm curious if they can truly keep up.

Would any of these be good for an outdoor set up, Would love to be able to broadcast football games and occasional outdoor movie night.

As long as it's not exposed to very low/high temps or water, sure. Plenty bright.

What are the tradeoffs with buying a new, midrange projector, compared to buying a 7-8 year old, used, high end projector for the same price?

Would you mind telling me what I should look for in an outdoor projector? We used to have an Optima Movie Time with a built in dvd player that we loved but unfortunately broke. I have been looking to get a replacement for some time, but feel overwhelmed with the technology.

We intend to use it on the side of a large building to show movies after dusk.
