Price range, make? Have you looked at Lowes are Home depot returns? Sometimes they have great deals.

What do you mean by returns? I will also be looking for a dishwasher soon.

If a person bought a dishwasher or (any appliance) and returned it, Lowes sometime puts a big discount on it. Recently I walked in and they had Frigidaire refrigerators brand new but being discounted as clearance.

You may want to narrow down more. Many models like Lg do not have heated dry like Kitchenaid or Maytag. I like the advice of some to take your dishes and casserole glassware to the big box store and see how they fit. I am told some like Bosch are narrower for smaller bowls. Some people say the third rack is pointless others say they love it. Do you care about noise? The lower the noise the higher the price.

Finally I worked in a water/wastewater lab for 35+ years. Some returns that are used are coated with white sediment (usually Calcium and magnesium). These elements are good for you. They can be taken off with vinegar in the wash. I use vinegar every few washes I live in Calif. Many people think the dishwasher is not doing a good job because of the white sediment. In recent years phosphate has been taken out of dishwasher detergents. You can contact your local municipality if you are on city water to find out you calcium hardness for free. West of the Mississippi there are more problems with calcium hardness.

The home depot people tell me to stay away from Samsung dishwashers because of problems with warranty.

Good luck

Here is what I just purchased:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-As...AR/3409004

OR a little bit quieter for a few bucks more:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-As...R/50431988

Then you can buy a coupon on ebay. I picked up a $60 off 400 for $2.

We replaced our kitchen appliances last year at this time. We got prices from Lowes and from Home Depot on Bosch appliances (Refrigerator Samsung). Both were comperable, since it was over 2K Lowes sent off for corporate pricing. The price went down a little. On a whim I went to my local appliance place (everyone has one), figuring it would be much more. They were unbelievable. The discounts I got were way better then HD or Lowes ($800 savings). Plus with Bosch I got a 10% rebate on total cost, HD and Lowes couldn't offer the rebate.

Long winded story, to suggest you walk in and talk to a local place. I did by stove, microwave, dishwasher (bosch) and a Refrigerator (Samsung), so I'm sure the bulk order helped.

FYI - They were able to offer me black friday pricing on Nov 1, as that was when they got the manufacture deals.

Lowe's and Home Depot are starting their Pre-Black Friday sales tomorrow. That's always the best time to purchase appliances. Lowe's is also doing a display change and has dishwashers on clearance with an extra 25% off of the clearance price. I purchased a clearance LG dishwasher, Samsung washer & dryer, and a Whirlpool convection microwave at different Lowe's stores in the past few weeks.
