In for 1 CPU/Mobo combo. No brainer for me. Was waiting for a deal on this processor for htpc build. And hooray for a Frys deal that's not in-store only.

Someone mentioned in the old $59 thread you can get faster shipping with Google Express (next day for him, 2-day for me).

Google Express charges me tax while Fry's doesn't, but there are $10 new customer coupon codes that work. In the end, I saved $3.23 using Google Express.

Good CPU for the basic day to day. As for the Google express offer, might wanna use that to offset the cost on ram these days.

It's actually better than the basic day to day. I have used it in a build and it does extremely well for gaming. For the price it's amazing, had to buy another.

Can you overclock this CPU?

I am planning to upgrade from G3258+Z97 and pair it with 750Ti. What gaming performance will I get from this set up?

This and G4560 are the best budget gaming CPU.
For 1080p gaming, you don't sea any benefits in term of FPS until you hit $200 cpu.

Great case. It has a very sturdy feel to it. Not tempered glass but can still show great RGB if youre into that.

Yep, I have the 4620 and a 1060 3 Gb and it works well at 1080p. I tried running Overwatch on the onboard 630 and that didn't work too well.

Paired with a 1050 Ti or 1060, I'd imagine so. I was considering this a few weeks back but found a good deal on an i3 8100 (<$100) and went with that.

Bah, would've been interested in this Mobo/CPU combo, but the savings on that is completely negated by the fact that I'd have to also upgrade my RAM to DDR4, which is crazy expensive IMHO. Any good suggestions for a board that still takes DDR3, or will I just have to bite the bullet sooner rather than later? Only needing it for a budget build, currently running a 3258 and Z87 Mobo
