LG OLED65C7P on eBay, $2399 + Free Shipping, No Tax Outside FL

Being sold on eBay by firstclasstvs. 100% positive feedback over 673 transactions, but is this dealer legit or would it affect the warranty??

$2399 is not a bad price considering no shipping and no tax (for me) and -$500 for using Price Rewind on Citi card. With price protection, you're looking at $1899 out the door. Add on a Costco extended warranty from Square Trade for another $90 and it's still under $2000, which is what I've been waiting for.

What say ye all?

You've been able to get the B7A for $200 less for at least a month now... $250 less via ielectria on newegg right this moment.

Dunno that the different stand/bezel is worth $200-250 more but YMMV

You must be looking at the 55". That's the one on Newegg for the price you're suggesting. This thread is for the 65.

what is the difference between the B and the C models. How good are these in a room with a middling amount of ambient light (not dark in daytime). Thank you to anyone who knows.

And, how does the $500 price match thingy work. I have several Citi issued credit cards.

The stand/bezel. That's it.

Oh, and the B7A (but not B7P) does not have internal ATMOS speakers (it's 2.0 instead of 2.2).

That last bit likely matters to nobody as people who really care about ATMOS are probably using their own speakers and not the crappy ones built into the TV.

Buy with Citi card. This gives you 24 months free added warranty.

Then go to the citi price rewind website, and manually submit a price protection claim against on the sketchy sites that is charging over $500 less. Provide the info they ask for.

A few days later you get a $500 refund.

No, I'm not.

The 55" is $1549 in that deal.

The 65" B7A is $2149 in that deal- or $2200 from various other places- or $2097 from Frys very recently in store.

Which I don't.

Nor apparently do basically every TV review site on the internet that all rate the OLEDs as beating everything else in quality.

Quote from rtings.com review of C7 :
The LG C7P can display our test image smoothly without any banding typically seen on 8-bit panels

Quote from cnet review of C7 :
The LG C7 is the best-performing TV we've tested to date....
On the bright side for your argument they DO note test patterns show faint vertical banding- but that it's not visible on any actual programs, and that it's much better than on non-OLED sets tested Applause

Quote from 4k.com review of C7 :
this model delivers nearly perfect 10-bit color support with virtually no banding in any gradation of the 1.07 billion RGB (Red Green Blue) color values that it can display. Furthermore, this television's support of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut space is exceptionally high at 97.8%. This is the best DCI-P3 color space coverage we've yet seen from any 4K TV to date in fact.

Is the issue noticed by everyone? No but it is an issue if you watch lots of movies/TV in a dark room and get a dud. Bought two A1E, one was perfect and another was a dud. The dud made it seem like I was watching videos in a jail cell.

Just saying it's something to watch out for since everyone's paying so much.

I was told they have different color processing. I saw them both side by side in a store and color looked a little better on the C. I don't like the silver bezel on the B. For me it's the C or nothing.
