I found on my e-mail Saturday is the day to shop at GameStop. I assume this works online too.

GameStop Elite Pro is $30 a year to get 30 points per dollar or $0.03 towards in store rewards certificate, 20% off pre-owned games
GameStop Pro is $15 a year to get 20 points per dollar or $0.02 towards in store rewards certificate, 10% off pre-owned games
GameStop standard is Free to get 10 points per dollar or $0.01 towards in store rewards certificate

Trading in games gets you an extra 10% credit for everyone.

During this Saturday it is double points for everyone for what you buy so I suggest you start getting some gift cards. I get discounted GameStop cards to get PSN credit/Xbone/Lyft/Uber/Sling/Steam because those work with store credits and GameStop gift cards. $100 PSN credit on the Pro Elite $30 a year program for example would get you $6 back in rewards where normally you get $3.

You stated you get $0.3 back per dollar for elite pro and $0.2 back per dollar for pro. But then you said you get $3 normally for $100 purchase. I think your initial numbers are off and it should be you get $0.03 back for elite pro and $0.02 back for pro.

I've heard that before. I'm an Elite member with BestBuy because I buy a lot of appliances and other electronics. There are 3 reasons I'm not signing up with the GCU. My house is behind a GameStop and I'm 20 minutes away from a BestBuy, I'm not very impressed with their used videogame section, and I only pre order a couple of new games a year. Trading on certain days can be very beneficial as a GameStop member over a non promotional day.

One minor error in OP, there is no mention anywhere of an extra 10% in trade bonus. You get 10% more for BUYING used games and accessories on saturday as pro/elite to "celebrate" Elite day, but there is no extra 10% trade bonus. You get 10% trade bonus as Pro and 20% as Elite, but thats any day of the week.
