How Can I Get Blue Iris To Connect To My Foscam Clone?

1 10 October 26, 2017 at 02:31 PM
Blue Iris cannot seem to connect with my Foscam clone.

Simple connection - the camera is ethernet to the router on a home lan and that's where I'm looking for the connection, nothing remote.

I get i/o error 10054.

I think maybe it has something to do with Foscam's way of asking what kind of connection you want - 'mode 1' or 'mode 2' or 'mobile view' ?

But I don't know.

Does anyone know?

Need to figure out the right ports and connect/auth strings. Remote has nothing to do with it at that point.

What cam? Have you tried setting it up as a Foscam cam? Tried using the auto-detect in BI? ONVIF? Any idea what ports it uses for connections other than 80?

No idea how to help, but IPCamTalk has a whole subforum dedicated to Blue Iris here: https://ipcamtalk.com/forums/blue-iris.30/
