This deal, as stated here, is more than enough to have the best of tools for Vlogging.
Yes you can look into many other options, "Mirrorless" and you gain on "Small Size". Not only Panasonic as correctly stated, many Sonys and Fujis will give you that (You need to pay attention that there are only selective models of those camera that are particularly good for Vblogging so don't get the cheapest of competitor and think that is what we are talking here when comparing to this deal).

However the reason I said this deal is great, no question asked; Is because of what is in this package and in relation to the price offered. You simply can't top that.

If you fall for this deal, here are a few positive points that you will like:

1- The fully articulated touch screen LED view finder. By fully turning it, you can see yourself clearly when vlogging and not all the others give you that, even though they might have "Articulated" LED (Limited mobility of viewfinder).

2- The two lenses provided here are excellent for their price range. In fact the 55-250mm gives you images that only Canon's L 70-200mm can give you, only it is made up of plastic and not metal, is colored black and not beige, none showing up on the result image!

3- You get a very capable Still camera package here, in addition to a very capable video setup. Very fast Autofocusing. Very responsible touch screen (Full function - Unike some other brands that even when say they have it, they only mean "Limited"). Varity of lens choices: Entire Canon EFs and EF arsenal in addition to older lenses via adapter). Excellent Image Quality sensor, even for low light etc etc. Others may fall short here.

4- Only T6s gives you HDR video feature. No other one, even no other Canon gives you this. However I am not sure in real life, how good is the result of HDR in terms of video footage(I don't own it and reviewer are inconstant in their reports).

5- You can (Should) add a cheap nifty fifty (Under $100 Canon 50mm, 1.8 AF) or a much cheaper older SLR 50mm f1.4 such as Olympus or Pentax for $10-75, depending on your catch on ebay / criglist with a cheap (About $10 adapter) and have the best low light setup (Manual focus) for indoor videography (Most of your work). You can get a similar manual focus wide angle say 28mm for a bout $25-30 (As a lot of Vblogger prefer). Canon is famous for giving you cheaper, better lenses with a lot larger Varity than anyone else. That is even before discovering the world of old manual lenses.

Bottom line: If you have smaller mirrorless that you have done homework on that, and it cost you less, go for it. If you don't or don't have enough clue, go for this deal. You simply wont regret. Even if you do, you can always sell this close to what you paid (Specially the lenses here that don't loss their value) and go for whatever else suits you need at that time. This deal is great. Rock bottomline.

This is when you pay for an entry DSLR and get an excellent semi-pro camera body with excellent lenses. If you are in market for best bang for bucks, DSLR, this is it. Don't miss it and please don't wait for BF or make other excuses. You'll regret. Very hard to top this deal.

Is it just the lens that is refurb, or the camera as well?

NVM, according to the product page everything is refurb

Panasonic cameras are known for best in class video quality, especially relative to their size.

Look there for vlogging.

I have been looking at this model refurbished for a few months, and also the Nikon D7200. A friend of mine also recommended the Sony Alpha line. So many options, features, and opinions - not an easy decision. I have been researching on-and-off for a couple months. Does anyone have any feedback of this versus a Nikon D7200? I know the D7200 is more $, but have seen a refurbished by Nikon body for $709 and sepately a refurbished 18-140lens for around $200. That's around $900 compared with this $750 deal (with two lenses). Anyone know how long this deal is good for? Still undecided....

(Serious question - camera newb here)
Edit - never mind. Google is my friend. 2 totally different cameras

You can vlog with anything really, there's a guy on YouTube with a million subscribers that uses his iPhone and another guy with 500,000 plus that uses just a GoPro. Most vloggers seem to use Canon G7x cameras though.
