Inkjets always cost more than laser.

I wanted a low priced wireless flatbed scanner that takes up little room and this fits that bill for me.

Still going to use my oki color printer for printing though.

I personally do not spend more than $30 on a printer. The exception was the Best Buy deal last year for $60 with a Pixma and a $70 gift card. Recently I bought a $20 Brother laser printer. It may only do black and white but it works great and bought 2 cartridges for $12.

If you are looking for cheap ink costs and just want bare bones black and white printing, go with a Samsung Xpress or Brother model. Get 3000 pages on my Xpress with a $14 generic cartridge. If you print occasionally and want color, go with a HP laserjet. Exceptional print quality and pretty cheap operational costs if you use generic toner. Currently have a HP Color Laserjet Professional CP1025NW that I've had for 8 years and it works like day one. Inkjets are more prone to reliability problems (had a Lexmark genesis that I paid $300 for and failed within a few months). This printer seems pretty good if you are able to find a CISS system or cheap generic ink.

Edit: Generic cartridges for this printer are $14.99 for a full set. Pretty reasonable

These printers are so disposable now. They charge a ton for ink and the printer gets all squirrelly after a year. Any body know of a better solution

$14.99 for five cartridges? Turn them into OD for $2 each when they are empty and spend $10, get back $20 in rewards.

Got ts9020 for 60$+70$ gift card in best buy, a week ago. Do you guys think I should return? Think same deal will be there around BF. I print occasionally and this model is 5 cartridge.
