Ebay is cheaper. But this's still a good deal though.

These are basically toys. It's not a valid projector of any sort... DO NOT BUY.

It's worth maybe 20 bucks.

Yeah. And they are even worse outside. If you want to prime t in less than ideal conditions you need better projectors not worse

I have this, or rather one just like this from whatever Chinese factory that probably make all the same cheap projectors.

The picture quality and control, ease of use and remote, etc, are all quite nice. No weird quirkiness and everything is as you expected.

Biggest point against this projector as you guys probably figured, is in the brightness of the projected image. There's no way this is 2500 lumen, more like 700 or 800. So you can really only use this in a media room with complete darkness, or at night with all lights turned off to achieve the same darkness. It is viewable then, but still not exactly bright.

This makes the whole portable moniker moot, as any amount of ambient light render this useless. A portable projector would lead one to think it can be use anywhere without constraint, which isn't the case.

For $144 I guess it's a cheap toy to play around with, and have proper expectation of you get what you pay for. Cheap anough if you're a poor college student I guess and it's serviceable, but not much use elsewhere.

This is not full HD, thread lies. Not sure why I bothered to click.

Full HD means NATIVE 1080p.

Second this. Most pico projectors would not be able to adequately produce enough lumen for dim lit room, even in complete darkness, the brightness and contrast aren't that good. The only thing going for it is the cost, and longevity compared to traditional lamp powered projectors which will require bulb replacement.

$50 or less I'd go for it I use a roku3m projector but it's only 60 lumens and not too watchable with a especially with open windows or bright lights around

the "portable" moniker kinda threw me off. From the customer pictures of this thing it's pretty damn big compared to the pico projectors that comes to mind.

And like isn't every projector portable? Like the kind your teacher would wheel out on a cart.

I'd like to try a true pico/portable projector one day but not at this price, could just get a TV (which I don't want to own for space reasons)

This does NOT project 1080p. It accepts an input of 1080p. It's standard def, and these are normally around $60 on Amazon. This is the exact opposite of a deal.
