FWIW anyone looking for a good little compressor may want to check their local HD.
I was about to buy a Ridgid for ~140 when I noticed a stack of these on [homedepot.com]
I had serious reservations & expected to return it but am thrilled enough to keep it.
This has (better?) features of (some) higher-priced compressors such as finned high-pressure line, 1/4-turn drain and exposed & well-cooled compressor. The compressor charges quickly (~30s) and runs my nailers/staplers remarkably well - seldom needing to turn on.
My only quarms is it is louder than I'd like (not bad though) and the accessory hose is light-duty.
