Doesn't look to be mu-mimo, at least from mobile, or I would have jumped on this.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just ordered the Archer c9, is this better for general home use? (Casual Xbox online gamine, and a few smartphones/tablets)

If you use mac filtering and you have more than 40 devices then this router is not for you. Up to 40 macs only and no dd-wrt support Frown

Do not try to use this router as an access point to extend your network. It will start out handing off DHCP requests to the parent router just fine, but after a day or so it'll completely stop and you'll get "failed to obtain IP address" on everything you try to add to the network. There is no way around this from any of the threads on the issue that I've found other than assigning it its own DHCP addresses to give out to devices, at which point it'll handle ALL requests on the network and not let the other router ever hand them out properly once the issue kicks in.

It's pretty bad if you have devices more than 1 bedroom away. I recently purchased this and exchanged it with the Google Wifi 3Pack instead. It was a night and day difference
