Sorry, can't understand what you were trying to say. I assume it's a joke or insult, but your wit isn't able to pierce through your unfortunate grammar.

Misinformation, the BarraCuda Pro model is ST8000DM0004 (note the extra zero near the end). The ST8000DM004 model is a standard BarraCuda at 5400rpm and SMR like the Archive drives previously used in these externals. Still a good deal for shucking as they have more cache and use less power than the Archive 8TB. Just be aware these are not Pros, even rpm-limited ones.

Got one of these several months ago. Works great, no issues whatsoever. No lost data. Checked the drive that came inside with some utility and it reported the non-SMR Barracuda. Extremely quiet, and no time at all to get up to speed from sleep. Literally not a bad thing to say about it. Even the price was great, ~$130 after coupons and discounts.

I bought one of these during Prime day last year and it had a BarraCuda Pro drive in it (ST8000DM004), though it was indeed flashed to 5400RPM, not 7200 like the drive normally is.
