EDIT: My bad, I thought this was a Vertuoline machine, not an original series.

Sorry!

Good price, but keep in mind there are no aftermarket pod options for these, so you're stuck paying $1.10 each through Nespresso.com.

I bought one and ran 100 capsules through it before I donated it to Goodwill. The coffee is good, just not good enough to justify the cost-per-cup ratio.

I own one of these, so I just wanted to clarify, this machine is actually part of the Original Line, which there are plenty of aftermarket pods which can go anywhere from 30-60 cents per pod. You're confusing this with other Nespresso machines that are part of the Vertuoline, which you're right, doesn't have any aftermarket pods, such you're stuck with $1.10 per pod.

I have the original line. Can you recommend some good aftermarket pods ?
Nespresso is really convenient if you are willing to pay like .50-.70 a pod

You're right, my bad! I thought it was a Vertuoline machine, not an original series. I guess I need more coffee before jumping on SD. Smilie

They are pricey up front but when you go through 8-10 shots a day (my wife and I together) - it doesn't take long to pay them off. We buy the foils from an Amazon vendor who makes knockoff seals for the knockoff Nespresso re-fillable pods 1000 at a time for cheap.

Best part - use whatever coffee you want. Grind it as needed.

We have a Pixie at home and I have a Inissia at the office.

I bought one of these earlier this year in a Target sale. Great little coffeemaker!

If you time it right, you can order coffee through Nespresso to make it ~.40/.50 cents a capsule. There are only a few sales a year that good, but just make a bulk order.

Also, you can easily sell the Aeroccino in the ~$40-$50 neighborhood if you have no use for it.

I use two Nespresso machines, home and office, quite heavily. This will make a good backup after flipping the frother so net $50 cost for when one of the others dies...Thanks, OP!

Thanks, so one can buy the starter pack to start with one pod, refill it and stick the cover. I just went through the site but seems like coffee grinding is the key with these pods !!

This should be $8.99 and come with 8 sheets of capsules to make it $89.99.
Otherwise it's a money throw away.
