This is the lowest I've seen this particular unit go. It's marketed for wild game but other than looking tacky should work just fine for any vacuum sealing needs.

No idea how long this price is good for.

Thanks OP! Grabbed one as a backup or possible replacement for my fancier model. This looks small enough to store in a cabinet easily and I think I will like the manual controls that will create less bag waste. My existing one also struggles when doing a lot of sealing and supposedly this model works better when sealing multiples.

The camo is absurd, but when you're butchering your own large game, the heat capacity is a necessity.

Would you all recommend this sealer? Good for the price? I'll just be using it for bulk food purposes.. And fish we catch.

That's seems to be what it is marketed for. Read the reviews for yourself but what you describe is why I purchased it and from the reviews it seems that many others have done the same and it works well for that purpose.

I have a counter top upright model and while it works well in general but it struggles sometimes. Struggles when doing bulk and we have to wait for it to cool down. This model claims it can do 60 consecutive seals. I also like the smaller size and form factor. I take many fishing trips and vacations and take my Foodsaver along. The countertop one is bulky and cumbersome to pack and this one looks much more manageable.

I'm also getting happier with my purchase before it even arrives just knowing that a got a screaming deal that the camo snobs just can't bring themselves to touch and will miss. I'm not a big fan of camo but I worry more about function than looks and hopefully from what I have read this is going to do what I want and do it well.

On Amazon it looks like the people who have purchased this buy the bags below.

Aftermarket bags can be had for much cheaper on Amazon and Ebay. Sometimes Foodsaver has a decent sale but even then it ends up about the same as the aftermarket bags. IF you do want Foodsaver branded bags, Costco and I think Sams Club sell an assortment at a pretty decent price but still above the generic prices.

The generic while maybe not quite as thick or nice as the Foodsaver ones are damn close and I have no problems at all with them.

Are these wasteful with bags in that they leave really long waste ends after the seal? Some models end up using almost 2x as much bag as needed because they add 2-3" of waste on both ends
