H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe + State 2017 Windows or Mac - Preorder $29.95+tax

It's back... but this time it seems so early. I got an email in my box that the deluxe version is going for last year's slick deal price as a pre-order. Usually, I wait until the price drops low enough to pull the trigger, but this is so early.

If you take off the $5.99 Extended download service - it sells for $29.95 + tax. Near as I can tell, it still comes with the 5 free Federal E-files, comes with one State version, and covers most of the population of Suburbanites in America. Peace

Not sure how to post the link from my email or if you need the email to do it, but I will try here:

H&R Block emailed me for a $34.95 price tag. This looks better.

It's really doubtful that the tax changes will go through and if they do, they won't be retroactive. Typically only retroactive items are ones that are being extended. I work for a tax info org.

Aren't most people better off waiting for the Amazon Refund bonus deal? If they do it again this year, you get an extra 10% back on your refund.

I did the Amazon thing last year. I won't do it again. I could not spread out the refund between my wife and I. It could only be loaded to one Amazon account. Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying.
