Although I've fed TOTW high prairie before, some of the recent reviews have me worried about the quality. My kids main staple food is Costco's Nature's Domain which is made by Diamond. Who alss makes TOTW. They do great on that. I like to buy good brands when they are on sale to mix that with their staple food to give them a different taste every now and then.

The one Amazon review that has the size difference in kibble between Amazon and a local supplier documented in a photo is the final straw in preventing me from jumping on this otherwise slick deal.

If you like the Diamond-made brands, check Amazon for Diamond Brand dog food. you can get their 40lb bag for about $35 shipped, depending on the 'flavor.'

What are you taking about?
You have me concerned now. Could you link to what you're talking about?

Edit: I reread this a few more times.
It sounds like you found reviews saying that Amazon's kibble size is smaller/larger than the kibble size sold in stores?

Nature's Domain is crap. Look at the first ingredient compared to TOTW.

Correct. This could be because TOTW is made in apparently 3 different plants. Which may use different size matrixes. Looking at a number of the other recent reviews, multiple people are complaining about their dogs getting sick. It could be an issue with a batch at whatever plant supplied Amazon vs what plant supplied some of the local suppliers. Or it could be a reformulation across all plants. I'm doing more research before risking the health of my senior dog.

@ATSUKO-KIYOSHI: I have no issue with beef meal as the first ingredient as that's dry weight. If it says beef than that's including the water in said beef. Which is removed during production and will make the actual beef content way less. Nature's Domain is also grain-free which is one of the things I value in dog food.

Most of the dog food review sites disagree with your assessment. As do I, based on how well my dogs do on the product.
