Just picked up some Organic Sumatra Whole Bean Coffee (2lbs) at Costco for $7.97. YMMV as there was an asterisk on the price tag. The SKU is 871465.

Haven't brewed it up yet but it smells good! This was in PA, outside Philly.

It is a mandhelling... So, probably better than your FOLGERS brands and it probably has a taste similar to those of starbucks coffees.

That being said, if you area coffee buff, stay away from any coffee that does NOT have a "roasting date" information. WHY? b/c fresh roast is GOOOOOD.

Note: too fresh roast is not. It is better if you start drinking your coffee about 5 days after its date of roasting. How long will the beans keep flavor? It depends on where they are kept!

TY. I'm my way to Costco anyway but will look out for it. I have had it before and love it.

None at the Brandon, FL Costco at any price. Frown Pity as I would have grabbed a bag for home and work at that price.

I guess I should have posted this deal 6 weeks ago when I saw this in my store and picked up 2 bags. It lasted in my store about a month, but sold out about 3 weeks ago there.

Fresh roasted coffee is fine to grind up and brew after around 24hrs. beans are only fresh for 5 days after roasting according to coffee aficionados
