Thanks for the post. Very good price and I was looking for something 'smart'. Also noticed that this now has a web management page in addition to the management utility (older versions only used the utility - no management page). Hope the link aggregation works well with the Zyxel switch that I already have.

Thanks and REPS OP!

As far as I can tell, no link agg (LACP) . I ended up returning the 24 port version because you can take ports out of VLAN 1 which allows management from all ports

Data sheet shows link aggregation....Doesn't specify whether it's static only or LACP though.

Edit: Per SmallNetBuilder review, this one has static link aggregation and no LACP. The model up from this one has LACP. For my puprposes, I'm good with the static link.

Are you sure these have the web interface? I'm almost positive they require a Windows utility to configure and administer them. Which sucks, even for the price. I notice there is a (1) in the description next to web-based interface - what is the description for that? my guess is there's something missing because you generally see even a low-end with a true web interface around $35 minimum.

EDIT: Be very careful. It says the web-based configuration is only on "V2 and newer". My guess, they are clearing out V1 switches. Just a wild hunch.

Possibly but the version 3 (V3) have been out since at least February 2016 (based on firmware notes). I suppose they could still have V1 left over.

The 1 in the description is for the Footnote 1 indicating V2 or later has web management.

I'm going to guess they are V1's hence the low price. I could be wrong, but it seems likely.

Most are V3. I'd guess V2 maybe. If it's V1, just return. V2 and V3 have web based management.

I never get their emails even though I have subscribed. Do they only send emails to their geographical base? Because I live on the East Coast....

The closest Fry's is 4 hours or so from my house so I'm not sure that geography matters.
