ibotta has $5 for Mobil1 annual protection motor oil deal as well.

Plus there is a deal with $10 gift card from apfco
https://apfco.com/secure/W1703/Register

Plus there is a 0w-20 on walmart that comes with $10 GC. (not sure if above and this are same) for $32.47
https://www.walmart.com/nco/Mobil...d/47219926

Plus there is a rebate by Mobil1 for $17.
https://apfco.com/secure/R8235W/Register

SO in total. $32.47 - $17 (rebate) -$10(included with purchase?) -$10(apfco) -$5(ibotta) = ~$10MM

This stuff is better than modern Mobil One oil. Modern M1 is good but not phenomenal. German Castrol, Amsoil, Motul and this Penzoil Ultra Platinum are better if you're really interested in getting a top oil.

Also, a quart in 7000 miles is nothing much. All engines use some small amount of oil and 7k is a decently long change interval. Also be aware that miles aren't a great indicator of abuse an oil has endured. Accumulated engine revs are best but hard to track. You may have put way more revs on the motor in those 7000 miles than usual due to lots of low gear and\or high RPM driving.
+1 to all the above.

PUP is one of the best oil available.

If you make a first time purchase using Google Express and Walmart you can get an instant 20% off your order. Would that void the rebate?

Ive ordered 5 of these 5 qt pennzoil bottles from walmart shipped to my house about 4 months ago. I redeemed my rebate through pennzoil's website. Included a screen shot of my walmart order detail page with my name address and quantity, received my pennzoil rebate check in the mail in less than a month. Make sure the screen shot include those details. Ive had to submit mine twice as my first submission failed to capture my name and received a rebate denial letter in the main three weeks later. The second time i made sure that it had all the information and it went through
You ordered all 5 in one order? The rebate shows only one bottle qualifies iirc... We're you able to submit multiple rebates on individual orders or did you do them all under one rebate? +1 btw

Jiffy lube uses Pennzoil. Pennzoil and Jiffy lube are both owned by Shell.

I'll stick to Mobil one, because Jiffy is dodgy as hell.

They will charge you for the washer even if they don't have one. I found out by doing my own oil change and was wondering why there is some blue glue on the drain plug and no washer to be found.
Just because Jiffy Lube uses Pennzoil doesnt mean this oil is bad. Quick lube places in general are about overcharging you for a quick job and have different grades of oil. Their synthetic changes cost a fortune. Shell sells one of the best gasolines on the market. Pennzoil Ultra and Ultra Platinum are good oils. Their conventional not so much but its gotten better.

How are you guys getting a printed receipt? Last time I did a in store pickup they just brought the bottles out with little stockers stuck to the bottles and Walmart customer service is Walmart customer service.

Anyone been successful with these rebates for shipped orders?
Mobil 1 has always accepted the receipt Walmart gives me for store pickup. No experience with home delivery. I have to admit, the receipt looks very weird to me, but mine have never been rejected for a rebate. (I do it online.)

+1. The one time I put Pennzoil Platinum in my vehicle, it burned through more than a quart in 7,000 miles.
What are you doing going 7000 miles on the same oil? Furthermore why aren't you checking it? That's just lazy why don't you try taking some oil that's brand new. Some oil at 4000 miles. And some oil at 7,000 miles and rub them between your fingers. You'll figure out real quick how. You'll feel a pretty substantial difference

I don't touch or look at oil for 11-12k.

The main convenience of going full synthetic. Why would you even get synthetic if you're still changing every 3-4k?

Finger rubbing is a terrible judge.

But regular checking of oil level is suggested. Especially if your car is older or higher mileage.

Does Ibotta work on walmart.com orders?

I actually had to buy two about two months ago because my Subaru was in desperate need of oil change when they weren't on sale. I should've just bought one but at least the rebates work for the whole year! Thanks! I also just ordered two more with Prime.
