I like these style kitchen faucets. No experience with this one but the Delta faucets in this style are great.

Do all faucets of this type mix the hot and cold water throughout the house? Is this a significant enough problem to worry about?

From a review:

"...it definitely mixes the hot/cold water of your entire home if you leave the handle in the "on" position. Which is kind of the entire point of this type of faucet, right?"

For anyone who is interested, Costco has the Kohler Malleco Touchless Pull-down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser for $199 on sale.

https://m.costco.com/Kohler-Malle...83984.html

It is more expensive, but includes a matching soap dispenser and includes the Costco warranty.

it would be possible with 2 valves instead of one or a check valve (a valve that only allows flow one way) on either supply line. There will be a natural current in the flow between the channels without these, it isn't fast, but over time i could see it happening enough to notice.

I think I'll just go with this. $70 extra isn't bad for a better product

I bought this for $230 last year. For this price, jump on it. No real issues, occassionally it'll turn on by itself every few months sensing a phantom motion but pretty rare. Use it 30+ times a day, no issues.

The faucets should not mix the hot and cold water at all - we did notice those reviews and reached out to any customers that had them and provided them with a check valve. The faucet does come with three check valves, one for each line and one for the main line.
