The 600W same model is on sale W $15 Rebate making it 40$. As much as 600 is overkill for my build i dont trust these. A "GOOD" 500 would work fine for me.

Thanks, Newegg doesn't show the other models have the rebate. Still it'd be pretty awesome if Newegg had a $10-15 dollar sale ontop of the rebate. Think I'll pull the trigger, I don't feel comfortable with the 450W Ive got now.

What's the risk of using a cheap PSU? Or do they just slap Bronze, Silver, Gold to sell for higher price?

Risk of cheap PSU is blowing up in your computer. Had a cheapo psu that came with a case and it blew up. I was using it for gaming. 80+ at least ensures minimum standards.
