109.99 deal through Amazon 9 days ago was a +8, am I missing something here?

I got these through the Amazon gold box deal 2 weeks ago and returned them - bad software, bad firmware and terrible user experience.

- I could not update the firmware, it would fail every time. Tried different computers, cables. JBL support was useless.
- The app (which is really important for a lot of the features like switching the modes the smart button works in, the EQ, etc) was almost unusable. I would constantly lose the connection in the app even though music was still playing through the headphones.
- You can only pair one device at a time, so if you plan to swap between devices you'll need to reset the bluetooth connection on the headphones and go through the pairing process every time you switch devices.
- Sound quality was pretty good but not worth the aggravation.
