I had been a long time subscriber of both TOH and DIY. Unfortunately ove rthe past 2~3 years they have been taken over by ads. I mean more than 75% of worthless ads. Its just sad seeing once great publications just become ad booklets.

Stopped my subscriptions earlier this year.

Check your local libraries, their digital editions may be free to rent with a library card.

I'm guessing it's Fine Homebuilding: http://www.finehomebuilding.com/magazine

I was a TOH subscriber about 15 years ago and dropped it because of the sheer amount of ads back then. Can't imagine how much worse it is now.

Love the TV show. Decided the magazine was pretty much a re-hash of the show with ads.

Agreed on both comments regarding Fine Home Building and This Old House --- FHB is now my go-to monthly reader. Fantastic articles, relevant topics, etc. TOH, on the other hand, is now all ads and VERY disappointing.
