Dell Outlet is currently having a sale on Monitors. This also applies to the Dell S2716DG and S2716DGR (one is just retail model, thus the R). Note: Dell Outlet monitors only come with a 90 day warranty. I have had good luck with them in the past, and they appeared brand new.

I had this monitor and ultimately returned. The colors were really bad even after calibration and various suggestions from forums. Gsync is nice but I couldn't tell any difference between this an my other 144hz without it.

Yeah, I picked mine up and had to calibrate it to get it where I liked it for the colors. Took me about ten minutes and I'm happy with the colors, viewing angles effect it though, since it isn't ips.

if you are willing to spend $400 on a monitor, youd be willing to spend $500 for a gsync IPS version..

still holding our for black friday. That AOC monitor was @ $500 about 1.5 months ago from MC.

Subjective opinion but I originally sold my dell s2716dgr for the acer predator x34 and ultimately returned it to get another Dell. I'm usually pretty picky but once calibrated there wasn't a big difference in the overall picture quality between the two. Calibrate this monitor properly and it looks amazing.

Do you still have a good calibration setting saved for this monitor?

I did the same. Picked up a ROG PG279Q and have no complaints.

I'm only sharing my experience and, as mentioned in my original post, my SUBJECTIVE opinion.

It's impossible to prove you wrong via the internet. So no, I won't.
