I just priced them out through Google. You can get the same or better price by buying individually at other stores.

Yes, but with this deal, you get an extra year of warranty, plus Costco's superb customer service, in case some issues arise during your warranty-covered ownership period.

Agree. Samsung and LG are the worst kitchen appliance brands you can buy. Unless you just like wasting money.

Which of these blow up, and can I still class action sue them when they do?

Hmm not impressed with the oven or the refrigerator actually.

I agree that Samsung is terrible for appliances. So. Many. Problems. The house I bought came with a full suite of appliances (kitchen + laundry). I've gotten lucky with most of it, no real problems. Dishwasher is the worst dishwasher I've ever owned. Can't even do a delay start on it which seems like a basic feature...

The washer is awful. You have to leave the door open for an entire day after using it or it gets musty/gross inside. I live in a dry climate so that washer would be a nightmare in a high humidity state.

My parents kitchen was redone about 3 years ago with all Samsung appliances sans dishwasher. Microwave heats up food really quickly and evenly, no issues with anything so far(it uses time dialing and not one touch start for those who are curious). The range heats up hotter than the depths of... Well you get the point. No issues there except that the stovetop High/Medium/Low settings are too hot for what is marked. The fridge is silent and reliable but the door shelves waste space for the sake of design. The ice dispenser holds too little ice, does not make ice in any reasonable amount of time and crushes ice regardless of what setting is used(crushed/whole). I highly recommend against purchasing one of their refrigerators.

It is entirely up to you to decide on what's best but when my parents got the 3pc set, it included 10% off Lowe's and a $500 GC so it was a good deal. Runner up brands from all the research I did were Whirlpool and KitchenAid.

My house came with a Samsung refrigerator. The drain has frozen 3 times in the 2 years I've owned it. If I'm lucky, I catch it before all of the food is ruined. I have to put all of the food in my downstairs Whirlpool refrigerator (which has been flawless), take every shelf out of the fridge, take out the fan assembly and use hot water and a heat gun to thaw the drain. I also have to get the ice out of the fan assembly. I've talked to people who have recommended putting a copper wire from the defroster down the drain, but that hasn't seemed to help.

I wouldn't buy another Samsung refrigerator.
