Probably less bass than Beats. I would save my money until Black Friday for price drop on Sony MDR 1000x.

I have had these for 4+ years now. Solid NC for plane use and better than QC15 sound quality but not quite the same level of NC.

I paid $89 back then from Buydig and have no complaints. Would expect the QC25 and 1000x to be better than these in both regards, but Bose sounds like... well the saying was "no highs, no lows must be Bose" (or Blose).

Solid value, but not the best of the best for NC stuff.

Fwiw I just got a pair of qc25 from the deal a week back and they have amazing nc. Nothing I've ever heard comes even remotely close. Sound quality is acceptable even without burn in.

I've had these for a few years now. Love them for NC. Bought them specifically to take on deployment and on ship with flight ops going on all the time one deck above me. They worked great. I used the older Bose QC's at work a lot during the time and preferred my AT's for both NC and just sound quality. I've since replaced the pads with some Brainwavz and like them even more. I also appreciate that you have 3 levels of NC to choose between and the fact that if the battery died the headphones could still be used just without the NC. The older Bose were dead in the water if that happened but I've heard that isn't the case anymore though I haven't seen it for myself. All in all they're solid ANC headphones and I'd buy them again if I were in the market for some.
