Over the range microwave

324 197 October 31, 2017 at 04:17 PM
So our over the range microwave died a couple weeks ago and are now looking to replace it. Are there ever really any 'deals' on them or are we just stuck paying the usual prices?

Looking for a stainless appliance FYI.

You could at least type in what you're looking for into the search bar before coming here. Just dig through that last year or two.

Other than that just the usual tricks:
1. Appliance sales that seem to pop up every month or two from Lowes, Home Depot etc. should also include microwaves.
2. The 20% mover's coupon for Lowes is always an option.
3. You can always buy gift cards at a discount (e.g. through giftcard granny, ebay or a cc that earns 5% back) and then pay with gift cards.
4. Use an online shopping portal for additional rebates. Search many portals as rebates can vary widely.
5. You might find a possible black friday deal if you wait another month.

Best deal would involve stacking some or possibly all of these.

I did search and it seems like the deals that are posted aren't generally voted one way or another to actually know if they're a decent deal (I know it's a low volume item). But I do appreciate your input on this.
