So the KS8000 is the better set, and this is a 60Hz panel. Still decent ratings, but sad to see the pic quality isn't as good as the 2016 version.

This is a 120 Hz panel. This also isn't the same TV as the KS8000, this is more of a mid-range TV. The low end QLED is more comparable to the KS8000 (I know, it's confusing).

Refresh Rate : 120 Hz (except 49")

Rtings listed this set as not capable of 120Hz at 1080p.

i think this maybe the lowest i've seen it yet but wonder if i can avoid tax since i'm in CA. But i've been leaning toward the sony 850e or 900 and since i want to mount this on the wall i think the sony is about 10-20 pounds lighter. i maybe wrong on that last statement.

That's not the same as it being a 120 hz panel though

A 120Hz panel that cannot support 1080p at 120Hz is what it is. The 4k at 60Hz at 4:4:4 is a nice bonus.

$2279.99 at Costco between Nov 12-27. May be worth it for easy returns and extra year warranty (or 4 years total with Costco Visa).

Anyone know if any of the higher end 75" TVs are available at costco on sale as part of the holiday sales? I wish they carried some of the higher end sony units like 900e
