IMO, this isn't a great deal. Petco charges for shipping most of the time, typically doesn't allow the store coupons to be used on food and the in-store prices are not that cheap. I am just buying gift cards in store to take advantage of later deals. I did, however, post a coupon that's good through tomorrow. It may be used on food. Combined with the AMEX offer, it's a very good deal.

The emailed $10 off $30 combined with the AMEX $5 off $25 is a good deal at $15 off $30, that's 1/2 off and if you look on the coupon there are no exclusions for sales or food etc.....so what's not to like?

But the $5 off $25 Amex deal CAN be used instore, so no shipping charges. I don't pay shipping, just shop when they have free ship offers, or I'll go to the store and buy if I need something right away.

Well, it's only a good deal with the coupon that I posted. 20% off isn't anything, especially since I have to pay tax at both Petco in store and online. Combined with the coupon I posted, it's a great deal. With the AMEX offer alone, it's hardly a discount.

Yes, well of course 2 or more deals combined are always better...... the AMEX deal happened to come first, the coupon came later.....had the coupon not been offered to members only or those willing to sign up for reward membership then $5 off $25 would have been better than nothing off.....

FYI in store you can split a transaction on to multiple cards so if you'r getting a $60 bag of dog food you can use the 10 off 30 and split on 2 amex cards so it comes out to $40 etc etc

It says it has to be registered. How do you do that?

Maybe it was the $15 off $50 that said it had to be registered.
This one says "Must add offer to Card". How would one have added the offer to the card?

Sign in to your AMEX cc acct/s. to see if the offer is there and if so it will say add to your card (to the right of the offer a blue button). You can also see the details and exclusions of the deal offer so be sure to note what they are, like good on gift cards, or not etc. There will also be an expiration date for the deal so you know how long of time you have to use or lose the deal before the deal expires.
