Seems like a good deal, tempted anyone have any comments?
I own this laptop. I bought it for $650 about 6 months ago refurbished through Ebay. It's been as low as $620 on ebay through Adorama. It has been posted on "The Ben Deal Website" about 5 times in the last 5 months. It doesn't have USB type C. That's the one omission.

Find me a better laptop for the price? 512gb SSD, 16gb ram, 2gb dedicated graphics, touchscreen. I love it. I use it every day at home and work (I work with refugees and resources are limited). Battery lasts me all day at work with moderate use. It has a 512gb Samsung SSD…research the price of that alone and you'll see how great a value this computer is.
Bottom line: It's a great laptop and amazing deal.

Any thoughts on this?
Got the 2 of the Flex 4's on a similar FP deal last year. Very good machine and unbeatable for the price
...BUT
Be careful with them. Had them both drop from about 2-3 ft up and both screens had to be replaced. Completely destroyed after a short drop.
That aside I'm happy with he machine and the purchase. The ones with the SSD are significantly better than the available 1TB drive version

We have 5 lenovo flex at work. All crap. One of the keyboard stopped working. Others act weird like screen flipping without no reason..connecting disconnection projector. If it was brand new with this specs i would say -maybe a deal- but refurbished and not 8th gen... I would say nope and pass it especially black friday is right here

It's a great spec laptop, to me anything above 14" in the current market is not a deal.
But, for others this is a good deal, not sure its manufacturer refurbished, but I played with this laptop in Costco and its great.

I have been thinking lately of getting the NIB version of this from costco. $900. 4-yr warranty with card. Upon looking, costco gives the next gen but slower GHz processor (i7-8550U) and possibly the stylus/pen.
Off topic, I just cant seem to find that sweet spot of features in today's laptops or 2in1s..
There is a huge difference between 8th gen and 7th gen intel processors in terms of performance and battery life. Go for 8th.

Kaby i7 with 16 gb and 500gb ssd in a slim chassis...for less than $700? In for 1.

Woulda preferred a 14 inch screen, but can't have it all.

Can you put a traditional form factor drive in this, and can you do it WITH the existing ssd? Can the battery be replaced in the long run? Any thoughts on refurbs from this company?

Great computer, from the looks of it. They have a version with a stylus for $899, or without the stylus for $849.

Only 90 days Lenovo warranty, for a refurbished piece of hardware...
