Great gimbal. Great price. Just not excited with ordering from a Chinese site with a Chinese warranty

A quick search showed there is a Feiyu Tech G5 V2 for $200 that includes a stand and supports the GoPro6. Is this for V1 then?

Nice price as it normally retails for ~$200. Not too thrilled with the retailer, but took a chance and paid with PayPal.

GoPro5 owner and Feiyu G5 Owner here.

The GoPro5 WILL pick up the gimbal noise and will have a constant hum in your videos. A very common issues with the Feiyu and GoPro 5 issues.

Functionality, it works perfectly fine. For those recording videos for the actual natural sound will be very upset.

For those using the functionality of the Gimbal and editing / adding audio to replace the GoPro Audio will be perfectly fine with this.

Price wise - it is a good price

Yes, I did notice this as well on one of the video reviews I watched. Looks like you should be using the "wind" mode on Hero 5 for best results. Check out the audio test below for Hero 4 vs Hero 5.

Even with wind mode, it will still pick up the gimbal noise with a constant hum over the original video

I noticed that. I wouldn't have purchased if I owned the Hero5.

Just as a heads up, the V2 is updated to hopefully help with the motor noise or so they say (they apparently added a cotton padding between the motor and the GoPro)... I haven't been able to find anything saying if this is true or not but at least they are aware of it.

Needless to say, if this is the V2, I'll buy it.

Read somewhere that V2 has printed text next to the gimbal buttons and V1 does not. Pictures do show text, but of course that doesn't mean it's V2 for sure.

Version 2 they added foam pads to isolate the GoPro from the motors more. From the video I saw on the v2 it had no noise. Also you can flip the GoPro and put the lens on the other side. That also puts the one mic on the other side. Might be worthwhile. But for me if i really wanted audio I'd remove the side door and plug in a external mic and mount it to the gimbal or if doing a vlog could also lapel mic. If this is a v2 I really want to get it.
