Product description
FlavorBig Grinark Roast | SizeStick Out Tongueack of 4

Since 1895, four generations of the Lavazza family have devoted their lives to the pursuit of coffee perfection. One delicious cup, and you'll know why it's Italy's favorite coffee.

A blend that combines Brazilian Arabicas with African and Indonesian Robusta coffees. An intense and well-balanced aroma, full bodied and fragrant flavor, rich aftertaste with chocolaty notes. Ideal for espresso, but also suitable for use in all types of coffee makers.

Is this good coffee? Be honest...
Better than say, Valhalla Java?

I am surprised this has robusta beans. I have always associated robusta beans with instant coffee or cheaper blends.

I haven't tried Valhalla java, but this Lavazza coffee has been a go to for a while now. Even though it's pre ground, the vacuum seal keeps it quite fresh. They also ground it rather fine, which I like. Think close to espresso grinding.

For taste, we like it very much, and we try lots of different coffee! It is definitely a strong blend. The Amazon reviews are great, also check out these online reviews below. If nothing else, this is a good price to try it out, find out for yourself if you love it or not!

I buy this whenever it's $12 or less. Usual price is > $4 brick, but it hits these lower points regularly enough.

I'm drinking some now and enjoy it. To me, it's not everyday coffee - more sipping than "drinking" - and it's flavor/strength needs to get adjusted as it doesn't follow coffee profiles that I'm accustomed, but once you get it zeroed in (which for me was using a lot less grounds than usual), it's great.

robusta has more caffeine, and has been used more. roast, and actual preparation method also impact flavor, aulity of beans i feel is second to preparation, as with the right preparation robusta beans can be delicious.

For those who dont know death wish coffee is actually robusta. as is valhalla java.

its hard to compare the two. this will be more of an espresso blend, and have a crema top, and a bit stronger flavor than valhalla java. valhalla will still have a higher caffeine content.

Mmmm. Yum. I'm drinking Lavazza espresso roast right now. Illy is my favorite but this is a close second
