Great board game. Kinda ticked because I bought it just over 2 months ago for around $60 and now it's too late to price rewind.

Free Shipping with Prime.

$47 is actually a good deal for a high end board game. There's lots of development and testing that go into them, lots of parts, cards, miniatures, and boards to print. Keeping 5 adults entertained for 2 hours for $47 is less than going to the movies, going bowling, going out for drinks, etc., and you get to replay it over and over.

100 dollar board games are not extreme examples.

you must not have ever played a game like this made for ADULTS. $47 is not even remotely expensive. I hate when people go around making comments on things they know absolutely nothing about. You don't have to make a comment on everything.

Good deal, but not sure I would want to order a board game through a 3rd party seller on amazon. I have seen almost 50% of my board games damaged during shipment from amazon.

Pretty good deal. When I was at Dice Tower Con I was hearing all sorts of conflicting reviews. Some people loved it, some people seemed to be kinda bored. Want to pull the trigger, but my board game backlog is ridiculous to begin with.

$47 for a board game. Ok.
This is nothing.... they get upwards of $100+. Good board games are pricey. And usually worth it - more than a video game is worth $60.

I own it. I learned to play it on Steam using Tabletop Simulator, but nothing beats actually holding the bits. Fantastic game.

That's not extreme at all. Most adult board games are in the $30 - $60 range easily. An extreme example would be something like Gloomhaven [amazon.com].

This is a fun game! The gameplay is extremely variable and the strategy is rather deep. It does take one or two games to start to understand how the game completely works, as there are several ways to win the game. All in all I think the game is very balanced.

Also, you need a rather large table for this one!

I bought this game at twice the price, and am still very happy with the purchase. This game is great. There are a lot of moving pieces, but the turn structure actually allows for continuous engagement, relative to a number of other popular 4X games.

At this price, it's a no-brainer for any board game geek. Use the savings to buy the broken token inserts, though; the game's # of pieces is pretty unwieldy without them.
