This kind of Stainless Steel band are not as stick as original rubber band, so it won't stay in place as easy.
So when you find a good location to measure your heart pulse, you will need to make it tighter for it to stay in place using stainless steel band. While using the original band, don't need to be as tight for it to stay as that location.

Also flexible stainless steel mesh material, because it is so flexible, if you make it tight to make it stay in place to measure pulse, it will put pressure to your whole waist since it is so flexible that every part of the mesh will touch your skin. While using the original band, probably no the whole band will touch your skin and feel the pressure because it is not as flexible.

Because of the lack of clasp, it's very easy to adjust. On the other hand everytime you put this on, there is no clasp so you will need to keep adjusting to find the right position for it to do the best pulse measurement. For people that hard to find the pulse may need to spend more time to adjust it everytime putting this on. While for original band with clasp, you probably just always to use the same position when put it on.

I got the silver first, then the rainbow. I work with a safe a lot and if I am not careful it will stick to the safe lol. But aside from dealing with magnetic surfaces, I never have any issues with it slipping off or coming loose. I have 3 now, considering black with this deal but worried it may chip easily.

No, but I've had them stick to the outside of my car door when driving with the window down and my arm out

Thanks, you convinced me not to buy and save a few bucks. Rather deal with the rubber stock unit.

Got the black one last time. It's very nicely made and makes the watch look much better. BTW, it does not chip.

Ordered a second one. Thanks, op. This kind with the black rubber ring around the magnet stays in place pretty well.

Got this last time. Returned it. It added too much bulk to the face, both the top and bottom. Makes the face longer. Glaring especially if you have small wrists.

I'm really digging the $6 leather band i found on a post on here a few months ago. I switch back to the rubber band for long cardio work outs where I'll be sweating. People comment on the leather band all the time. It's worn well and i haven't had to oil or treat it yet. Just my two cents for anyone looking to switch out the stock band.
